Edit in Vegas, convert to flash, problems occur
I use Sony Vegas to edit my videos. I usually select “Internet, High Quality” at the beginning of each new project. Once I’m done editing and rendering, I convert all projects to Flash videos. But after the conversion, the quality of the video diminishes a lot. What can I do to keep the quality of the videos high? Are there certain settings I should be using in Vegas? Or could it be the Flash converter or player that’s causing the problem? (I use Pazera to covert, and Adobe Media to view the videos) Thanks in advance.

Which version of Vegas are you using?
Where are you finding this option?
I just finished a project and sent a high bitrate mp4 to the client so that they could convert it to the desired format.
In Pro 9, I selected “Sony AVC” and “Internet 4:3 SD 30p”.
I then clicked the Custom tab and changed the “Bit rate (bps)” from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000.
The higher quality was very noticeable (in comparison to the default setting) and the client was very happy with it. -
I tested the Pazera converter against the Moyea program, and the Pazera converter output is noticeably worse.
You get what you pay for. Fortunately Moyea software is reasonably inexpensive.
