  Edge feather shifts in and out points on video

  OK, here is a new one. I’ve got FCP 7 on a mac intel 11gigs ram, and working on a 1080 30p timeline. I have some old DV footage (regular 29.97 stuff) I’m putting the DV footage on the timeline and if I don’t do anything to it it plays fine. But I need to crop the left and right edges a bit and put it in slow mo. Even then it plays fine. NOW, when I add some edge feather from the motion tab in FCP it actually shifts the in and out points of that clip.

  What the f%@#&*.

  Has anyone every experienced this and if so, how do I stop it?
