Edge Blur After Effects
I usually never post cause I can always find the answer I’m looking for first. This time I didn’t even really try.
Can anyone help me out? I am trying to open a AE project that someone else created on a PC. Not sure which version they used but I am running CS5.5 on a MAc. Anyway I keep getting a warning saying, “project contains 2 references to missing effects. Please install the following effects to restore these preferences. (“Edge Blur”)
Wondering if this is an after market Plug In ( if so where I would find the same one )or if I should have it already but don’t for some reason.

Most likely that is a third party plugin. Red Giants Key Correct Suite has an “Edge Blur” effect. There is no such effect included with AE

Thats what I figured. Thank you very much for your reply. I think you are right. Anyway, I thought the project wasn’t going to work without it, but I was wrong.
It works fine and I just trough on a vignette to blur the edges.John O’rourke
