    Hello,

    I’m not sure if this is the right page for this inquiry.

    I just want to ask about file management & storage solutions for a small media team. I know it’s hard to harmonize economy and performance.

    Or at least please, refer me to a link or a resource about small-group, economy shared-storage solutions? At least I want to have some references when we meet and discuss with our IT team.

    Some stuff that I need basic info:

    – storage size requirement. What is the ideal storage capacity of a file server for a small media team?
    – bandwidth/speed requirements: say, 2 video editors, DV/HDV…how can we measure?

    Here’s our team’s composition:

    video editor – 3
    graphics – 2
    audio – 2
    office – 5

    primary acquisition files:
    HDV/DV, m2t, mp4, QT | wav, mp3, PSD,

    I guess I didn’t meet your 2 hour window for your IT meeting.
