Echo Effect not working in AE 7
Hey guys,
quick question here – I built a comp in 6.0 using echo. When I try to open the comp in any version newer than 6.5 the echo effect does not work.
Is this not supported? Is there a switch I am forgetting?

In some cases, effects get updated and then things don’t work quite right in the new version if you open an older file. It just happened to me with CC rain the other day.
My suggestion is to write down the settings you had, delete the old effect, and then add in the effect again.
Or you can just try playing with the settings to see if any changes you make fix the problem.
