  • Easy Credit Sequence in Motion anyone?

    Hello All.

So I’m new to motion and I need to create a very very simple white text on black background credit sequence: 6-10 cards followed by scrolling text. In FCP it’s easy because for every card you go into viewer and do text and you just plop them next to each other on the timeline. In Motion it isn’t apparent to me how I can make separate title cards. Can anyone break this down for me in a simple step by step way?

    Thanks!!

Just trim each text layer to the duration you want in the Timeline.

You can just duplicate your text layer and move it over. I’d suggest before you do so, you trim it to your desired duration. I’d also suggest some training as Motion can be difficult to master by just jumping in.
