  Easiest Way to Import Footage Capture in FCP to PP

  So while at home I use Premiere Pro, the University I’m at uses FCP. Now, I’d like to edit at home but I need to capture off of miniDV at school using FCP. I know I can export and import .xml the whole project but it that really the easiest way? Or is there a way to just get the footage off the tape at school and start a new project at home in PP?

  Just an FYI, these are simply 6 miniDV tapes with one hour’s worth of footage on each that I don’t plan on separating.
