easiest way to do this?: convert a whole bunch of clips to ProRes
Posted by Arnljot Bringedal on May 15, 2009 at 1:24 pmI have 290 clips of h.264 from the 5D mk2.
How do I go about encoding them into ProRes 422 HQ in the least labour intensive way?

May 15, 2009 at 1:26 pmUse Compressor. Drop in all the clips. Select them all. Go to the ADVANCED FORMAT options and choose ProRes. Click SUBMIT.

May 28, 2009 at 8:19 pmI just installed FCP 6.0.5 on my 8GB Mac Pro and when I’ve tried this with many different batches of 5DII files, Compressor crashes. Any ideas on how to fix this? THANKS.
