easiest way to do this?: convert a whole bunch of clips to ProRes

Use Compressor. Drop in all the clips. Select them all. Go to the ADVANCED FORMAT options and choose ProRes. Click SUBMIT.

I just installed FCP 6.0.5 on my 8GB Mac Pro and when I’ve tried this with many different batches of 5DII files, Compressor crashes. Any ideas on how to fix this? THANKS.
