Activity Forums Maxon Cinema 4D Earth 3D Latitude and Longitude grid?

    You can either do it through material mapping. Make a grid in photoshop (or whatever) and uvw map. This is pseudo 3d. Or a better method is to make a sphere and add a atom array object to that sphere. Or…get the plugin wireshade. Hope this is what you are looking for-good luck

    I really dont think so…but u do get a little more control because you apply as a material where as atom array wireframes the whole model. So i guess if you want part of a model wireframe..then yes. I don’t do a lot of wireframe so atom array usually works for me.

    Howdy,

    Another way would be to create a sphere with the right number of subdivisions for your latitude and longitude lines, make it editable, render it separately with the Cel Renderer and use it as a mask to add the lines in a compositing app.
