  Dynamic RT with Kona LHi

  Hi,

  First of all – my system:

  Mac Pro with 2*2.26 quad core xeon, 8GB RAM, 3*500 GB software RAID 0, AJA Kona LHi, FCP.

  As input I use XDCAM EX footage gathered by XDCAM transfer software and used AJA KONA LHi: 1080i 25 Apple ProRes 422. Under RT menu I used Unlimited RT, Scrub High Quality selected and Dynamic settings both for framerate and quality. When I apply filters and effects my timeline goes usually orange, sometimes green and during preview compression becomes visible. Is that all I can acquire from my system or somehow can I tweak it further? Unfortunately, Kona’s manual is not very extensive with regard to RT…
