DVX100a firewire to deck settings?
What settings are required on a DVX 100a to record video/audio to an external deck (dsr-11 sony) via firewire?
Is it also possible to record tape in the camera simultaneously?
IF so, how do tape changes affect the external recording?Thanks!!!

Thanks, Dave for your response. Unfortunately I’m not grasping your full intent here. I’m not an expert user of this camera, so I only know what I’d like to get out of it, but don’t know how yet.
I’m fine with sony cams, panasonic is new to me.
Do I have to do anything other than just connect a four pin to four pin (into my dsr-11) and press record on the deck? I rent these cams, so don’t have one at the moment to test. Thanks.
