DVX 100B in camera slo-mo
Posted by Andy Snyder on February 2, 2009 at 7:17 pmIs there any decent way to shoot slo-motion in camera with the DVX-100B?

February 3, 2009 at 4:35 pmThanks…that actually reminded me of another question I have. If I am shooting in 24P with the DVX in Squeeze mode, should I be importing with the pull-down removal setting? I am experiencing some subtle vertical lines on the edges of my image when viewing on a computer screen, but not on a tv monitor. I am guessing that this is the interlacing. Should I be setting up my DVX with progressive/squeeze/thin settings? Any tips? Thanks again.

February 4, 2009 at 2:47 amSqueeze and 24p are not related. Squeeze should be imported as anamorphic 16:9.
24pA should be imported as 29.97 with automatic pulldown removal assuming you want to edit at 23.98.
24p should be imported as 29.97 and edited at 29.97. If you want to remove 24p standard pulldown- go into CinemaTools.
