No, I owned DV Matte BLAST before I bought Pro 3.0. And yes, I had to buy that one separately…no upgrade.

Is there a known problem with the dvMatte Pro demo?

I downloaded the Conduit demo and it works within FCP 5.1.4

Then I downloaded dvMattepro 3 demo and it locks up FCP, when FCP launches..

What happened? Any known Problems with demo

Got me. I am using FCP 6.0.2, so I am not running the same version you are. E-mail them and ask.

Thanks for the note, and apologies for the problems. Some folks with FCP 5.1.4 just have problems, and we’re not entirely sure why.

Here’s how to fix things though:

Go to: HD > Library > Plugins > FxPlug

Then just delete the demo/dvG folder and you should be fine.

Alternatively, you might want to try out dvMatte Blast. We know that 99% of the time it doesn’t create a problem in FCP 5.1.4.
