DVDA3 Text in Motion Menu
I was wondering if anyone has the same problem or has an answer to my motion menu problem in DVDA3b. I rendered an uncompressed avi for my motion menu which has text. When I preview the menu in preview mode on my computer monitor as well as ntsc monitor via 1394 I get a great looking motion menu with good looking text.
When I burn the dvd, the quality seriously changes for the worse. I’ve tried different encoding settings in architect from 6000-9600 but the results are no good. I’ve tried the reduce interlace on and off. I’ve tried important an mpeg2 instead of avi. I’ve tried a microsoft dv and uncompressed dv file. I’ve tried stretch to fit, auto zoom, and letter box. Nothing works, the results are poor. When I put photoshop text on top it is fine.
Any ideas or similar experience.

I solved the problem…Within the video properties i was able to make it progressive. It was interlacing it as a default.
