Hello. Can someone tell me the major differences between the 2? I have DVDA2 and was wondering if it is worth the upgrade and what special features are there this time around?

    Hmm..

Off the top of my head:

    Dual Layer support
    Delayed menu buttons
    Multiple video angles
smart re-prepare (great for making menu changes)
    Add non-video files to disc
    Super-cool navigation tool
    Mastering for DLT
    Playlists (any combination of chapters)

    What about Macrovision and CSS?

Does this give the little guy burning DVD-R’s the ability to copy protect discs or is this just for the guys who are mastering commerically produced DVD’s?

Are there any extra fees to be paid to use it?

It doesn’t actually put copy protection on it. It just flags the master to tell the replication company to add copy protection from what I understand.
