DVDA 4.0 Problem with subtitles
Hello everyone, I know you’ve probably heard this problem a lot, but I am subtitling a video in both spanish and portuguese. I’ve added the two tracks of subtitles and a menu at the beginning that enables you to chose between no subtitles (action in subtitles set to off), spanish and portuguese.
When I am about to burn the DVD there are some error messages that state that the subtitles are to complex due to an horizontal line. This error is displayed also in the no subtitles track.
I checked the help and it says that I should turn outline off but my client wont take them that way.
What should I do, is there an easy solution I am missing; I don’t want to rewrite and reaccommodate the subtitles again. I don’t know if I can export them (in the worst of the cases) to vegas and render them along with the video, but I would need 3 copies of the video, making the DVD bigger and killing the subtitle button function in the remote.
Please have a look at my issue, any help or ideas would be appreciated. Deadline is tomorrow (sunday) night Pacific Time.
Thanks in advance
Alejandro
