DVD Title “Splash” Screen
So, I’m trying to put together a DVD for my first feature. Everything is going just as planned; subtitles are written, commentary tracks are layed in, all links and title/menu buttons are linked as well. I’m very happy with the project. There is one thing, though, that I’d like to do but am unsure as to whether or not it is capable with Encore. In some (most) DVDs that I watch, when I press the stop button twice on my remote (not only stopping the movie but disallowing playback from the same location via the play button) a “Title Screen” appears which shows the “Jacket” of the film (a simple graphic that resembles the image on the cover of the DVD case). I’d like to be able to accomplish this for my DVD. Is this possible? Anyone know a way of accomplishing such a task? I’m not sure if I described it corectly. Thanks for any help in advance.
