  • DVD Studio Pro track cannot be deleted

I am working in DVDSP4 on a project, total size 8.2GB. I’ve encountered a problem which I never had before: it will not allow me to change the layer break point:

    1) The pull down full possible layer breaks shows all tracks in black (which is impossible). Even if I try to change the layer break point to another track or marker it defaults back to one track always, which I will call “Corporel”.

    2) Even selecting the “Automatic” option does not work. The DVD is rejected because it doesn’t find a possible layer break point.

    3) I duplicated the “Corporel” track and renamed it. Then I tried to delete the original “Corporel” track, in the hope that it would now allow me to select another break point. The original “Corporel” cannot be deleted – even after I deleted all of its contents (track now empty) and unlinked it from any of the DVD sequence.

So I am stuck with a DVD that will not burn. Is there any way to force delete this track, which must have some technical glitch in it? Otherwise I have to recreate the DVD from scratch (7 tracks with subtitles).
    Thank you,

    Brian
