DVD Studio Pro install on Lion

This is something that has come up a few times recently, people wanting to instal FCP6 etc on Lion or ML.

Apparently it can be done.

Thanks, I did look at that thread and will attempt to install DVD Studio Pro that way. But since DVD Studio pro has been discontinued, what are my other choices that are current that I can make a professionally authored DVD?

I was in a similar position in that although I have DVD Studio as part of FCP7 I needed to make some BluRay discs.
I tried Toast 11 (I think) and had issue burning BluRay disks so ditched that, luckily I tried it out on a friends Mac so didn’t have to buy it.
So I ended up getting Adobe Encore. Sadly not a stand alone app but part of CS 5.5 in my case. It works in a similar way to DVDSP so its easy to pick up workflow wise and along with a simple Samsung portable BluRay burner have had no real issues.
Adobe Media Encoder, which is part of the same suite also works well and I have tended to use that over Compressor of late, (obviously have to for BluRay)

I only tend to make fairly simple discs, usually no more than a couple of menus and a few choices of content at the most.

I know there are a few other stand alone app options so it might be worth posting in the DVD Authoring forum to get more specifics on that.
