DVD Studio 4 – changing the colour properties of patch shapes?
Hello all,
I would be deeply grateful if anybody could propose a solution to the following.
I imported a logo (graphic/.pict) asset into a DVD main menu. I then set the graphics patch shape as RectLeftBlackAndWhitePAL.pox. The original logo is white text on a jet black background, however, setting this .pox sequence slightly lightens the logo’s original colour, turning the background dark grey. This looks unprofessional as the logo is set against a jet black menu template (‘wedding cover’). Is there any way of modifying this particular patch shape so that setting it does not affect the colour of the graphic asset (this for instance is the case with OverlayFadeIn)?

Why not build the look you want into the logo and not bother with the shape?
