I have clients asking about adding iPod/iPhone and flash/windows media files to their DVD’s so that the user can copy a digital file version to their handheld device.

This can be done by just putting the media files in the DVD-ROM area and providing details of how to access the file manually through Explorer etc. However, this is not a very convenient method for a lot of people.

I have noticed a number of professional DVD’s now provide a facility where, when the DVD is run in a computer, a menu appears that has a number of buttons allowing you to copy the digital file to your iPhone or other file formats, or just select Play the DVD. In a set top box the DVD will play normally.

This would be a very useful function, and simple to use, for corporate DVD’s in marketing, training etc.

Does anyone know of an app (not eDVD) that is available, or software that could be used to achieve this.
