DVD rip and edit
I’m trying to put together a demo reel for a friend. His material is all on DVD. I ripped his film to my HD as an AVI file using Lead Convert. It plays back fine in windows, although the aspect ratio seems changed even with the correct settings (as far as I know) but playback in Premiere Pro is stuttering, it looks like a frame rate issue. Since the rip took about 15 hours, I thought I’d check here first before I trouble shoot codecs in the ripper program…maybe there is a Premiere Pro solution?

What are the settings of the AVI video? If you are not sure, download a program called G-Spot and analyze the video element.Aanarav Sareen
