DVD-R DL is struggling to find firstplay
I am having issues playing a DL DVD. I have tried both DVD+R DL and DVD-R DL and both have issues in a number of DVD players. Essentially, the project burns without a problem, but after inserting the disc into the player, it searches for a while and eventually stops. if I hit play or top menu, it will find the top menu and seems to play fine from there on. I have also created an ISO file and burned through Nero with the same result as well as using an external LG BluRay/DVD+-R burner. Any help?

Make sure you use only Verbatim DVD+R DL discs and burn only at 2.4X
If you are using different brand media than Verbatim and/or burning at a faster speed than 2.4X, you can almost be certain your disc will have issues playing back on a dvd player.
