I have an Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer and have been using the Epson “Print CD” software and have been very happy with results. Ever since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I am unable to print a DVD. When I get the print dialogue box open, it does not give m an option to select CD/DVD as the “media type”…there is literally not option…it does not exist anymore. I also have noticed that when I click print and the dialogue box opens up, when I select printer, then “add printer”, there are no printers to select. Can anyone help?
My apologies if this is not the appropriate place to post this,

    -Dan

ps – I am open to any suggestions for alternative free or inexpensive DVD printing software.

    Thanks

I stopped using epson print CD when I moved to 10.5 because it just never worked well on anything other then 10.4 and epson does not care to make any update available.

I dont use it to design CD/DVDs because lets face it any CD/DVD design software contains mostly cheesy stuff. I use Photoshop and then bring my design into Disc Cover 2 to print it.

Have you checked with Epson that they have a Snow leopard driver or software update for that printer?

Did you check the Epson website for new drivers? I own an Epson R280, and Epson has Snow Leopard drivers available for my printer. The Snow Leopard software package includes a new version of Print CD (Print CD 2?).

    Thanks Ken:

I figured out a manual hack using the original software and Leopard but this is much better. I really appreciate you posting this.
