Get Discus Labeling Software from Magicmouse. Well worth the low price of $35. Works on ALL platforms, tons of templates and works with many many printers.

Print CD is a generic program.

I realize that, but i went to their website it only mentioned that the software created labels and dvd covers…just making sure.

We use DiscLabel from SmileOnMyMac, just another choice.

If you have Toast it comes with the free Disc Cover. I use it in Snow Leopard with an Epson R1800.

By the way the Snow Leopard drivers for 10.6 came with an updated Epson PrintCD and that works fine as well. With Epson PRint CD make sure to go to File–> Update Printer information.

Epson has always had their head in the sand when it comes to Macintosh support.

I used to be able to print a full-cover DVD/CD up until OS X 10.3 or .4 on my Epson Stylus Photo R300. I mean the discs with white printable labels that covers the entire disc up to the small hole. It always did a beautiful, reliable job.

I upgraded to Snow Leopard and now the new R300 driver uses a mask that limits CD print coverage to only to the original 4.6″ with 1.5″ hole print area.

Am I overlooking something elemental or is everyone having this problem?

I can’t print at all using Print CD…I tried using Disc Label and couldn’t print there either. Seems like it is a computer issue not a software issue. Anyone have any ideas?

I got DVD/CD printing working on my husband’s iMac, now I’m looking to find the instructions as I upgrade my MacBook Pro. I remember you have to REMOVE the driver provided with Apple and INSTALL one from Epson, and then it worked for me. (I use an old free-with-something version of Discus RE to create the labels.)

    Found it! Look here:

As I said, it worked for me.
