DVD freezes while audio continues to play
I’m exporting a project in 10 minute chunks from my timeline with the “make movie self-contained” box unchecked. Then I’m importing those unself-contained quicktime movies into iDVD, and when I play them back, it will freeze 5 min into the clip but the audio will continue to play. I burned 3 disks, and 2 turned out like this. One was fine. The only good one was the 2nd burned disk. Help? Thanks!

DVDs freezing is sometimes due to your bit rate being too high, bad disc stock or an older DVD player. Could be other things, but I’d start by using DVDSP first, and Compressor before that, so you can control your bit rates. Plus, get some decent discs, Tayio Uden or Verbatim, there are other good ones too.
