DVD display on Laptop vs Desktop/TV
I posted earlier that I was having difficulty authoring my demoreel.
I’ve now tested the DVD on five computers and a TV. It looks great on a G4 and a G5 desktop as well as a PC Desktop. It also looks great on a TV.
The problem is only present on two different Titanium laptops. The laptops have different screen size/resolution/age but the image is messed up in exactly the same way.
The problem I’m having is with the quality of the video as it relates to specific vector based shots. The image becomes very aliased (stair steps across the sharp lines).
The QuickTime file I am using was output from Final Cut at 10bit uncompressed – 720×480 NTSC 4:3
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, I just re-output the QuickTime file to make sure.
It does look like that is the problem.
Is there a setting in the Studio Pro regarding deinterlacing?Ryan Hovenweep
