I m getting an error file is to big to burn to disc. There are only 2 files that are a little over 2GB. The dvd has a menu with 2 buttons two play the 2 movies. When I go to build disc it says the file is 8GB and too large to fit on the disc. I exported the 2 files from Adobe Premiere as MP2 DVD compliant files and imported them into Adobe Encore. Any suggestions appreciated.

Be sure to tell Encore not to transcode under transcode settings. I would think that even if it was set to auto-transcode that it would make the files fit the DVD so I’m not sure what is going on with the project.

What is the total length of the content? Can you post a screen shot of the encoding settings you used to create the MPEG-2 DVD content?

It is possible that due to an error in how your buttons and menus are set up in Encore, that clips are being “counted” more than once, which would create duplicates on the DVD, increasing size. If you can post a shot of the Encore menu branching that might help.

    Thanks
