  • DVD Architect Pro 5.0 – Customising and Loading a Button?

    Hello there,
I’ve been ‘trying’ to help my dad out with a project of his using DVD Architect Pro 5.0. We have a good grasp of the programme but we have had a problem with the buttons looking visually how we want them to look.

We want to give the button a simple fade around the edges; granted that there is a button like that is place – but we would like to be able to customise a version of this – perhaps via photoshop.

Firstly – is this possible? If not then it’s good to know to give up the search.

Secondly – how does one load in the buttons successfully? We have tried doing this (with prototype buttons) by opening up the folders where the buttons reside but progress hasn’t been good.

If anyone could be of help we would greatly appreciate it.

drag and drop the existing buttons on to your menu

then change it’s properties (property pane, usually on RHS of screen) to set the media for that button – just browse for the audio/video files

you can create custom buttons in photoshop. it’s quite complex. Search for Layered Graphics Files in the help.
