DVD architect 5 installed but Vegas doesn’t notice
I’m having problems with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum and DVD Architect 5.
I installed Architect after Vegas, and am putting together a concert with Vegas. In the end, I’m hoping to just click burn and sit back while it does it. But, alas, it ain’t working.
When I click the Make Movie button, it works if I select Blu-Ray… gives me the dialog box to choose my settings; same for Video CD and CD-ROM with video file. If I choose DVD, I get a box saying “DVD Architect does not appear to be installed. Please save your project, install DVD Architect Studio, and restart the Make Movie Wizard.”
Is it just a registry key that didn’t get written right or an INI file that’s missing a line of text?
I can work with the Blu-Ray output option, though I’d have to manually set all the chapter markers to the beginning of each song, because right now, it’s just markers set there for each one.
I tried using Pinnacle, but the output audio exhibits clicks and pops at the beginning of each transition that I couldn’t get rid of.

Also… does anyone know of a good video stabilizer akin to proDad’s Mercalli?
I’m trying to use Mercalli in Pinnacle Studio 14 and it works, but it’s a little tricky to use and I can’t import the result without a lengthy render, then opening the file into Vegas and working with it there. -

Where did you get DVD Architect 5? It’s not sold separately and only comes with Vegas Pro 9.0. This is why Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum doesn’t see it. Movie Studio will only see DVD Architect Studio 4.5 that comes with it which begs the question, why don’t you have DVD Architect Studio 4.5?
