DVD Architect 3 re-rendering Q
Hi,
I rendered a 24-minute video to NTSC with Vegas, then used DVDA to finalize it. The “rendering”-and-PREP by DVDA took 35 minutes, with best quality.
Unfortunately, I had allowed about 3-4 minutes of black at its end (beyond the “The End” title) and wanted to trim it.
So I used the little “slider” for “set out point” to trim it appropriately.
Then, re-rendered using DVDA.
This second rendering only took 4 minutes, as opposed to 35 minutes originally. (I made a DVD and it plays fine.)
Is this normal? Is DVDA smart enough to know that it does not have to re-render most of the video? Or did I suffer some loss of quality?
Thank you.
John
