Activity Forums VEGAS Pro DVD – 25p/50i

    25p is not part of the DVD specification so the only way to get the footage onto a DVD so that it will play is to convert it to 24p or 50i. What you shoot in is up to you. Shooting 25p will require slower pans than 50i so that you don’t get jerky footage because there is less temporal information. You can then slow that down 4% to 24p to place on a DVD and have a nice film-like cadence.

    I could test it here, but easier to ask. Will 24p play in PAL country?

    Why I ask is that I like the colours, and low ligth capasity of 25p.

    This is 25p, 1/12, f2.8, Cine Mode. Early morning late october, one could hardly see the dog.
