  DVCPROHD 1080 30p to SD in After Effects

  I have been racking my brain for weeks trying to figure out the proper workflow for DVCPROHD 1080 30p footage in After Effects. I export the ftg from FCS and when I bring it into AFX I put it into it’s own comp and then place that comp into an SD timeline. I get all kinds of combing and interlacing artifacts, especially when the picture moves. Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial or site with an explanation of how to properly convert the DVCPROHD footage to Standard def using FCP and/or After Effects?
