  DVCPRO50 combing issue in FCP7

  Hello,

  I somehow managed to finish my project with no harm done, but I’d like to understand something.

  I captured footage shot on P2 card in DVCPRO50 via the “List and transfer” feature in FCP7. They came as DVCPRO50-PAL with field dominance set to lower first.

  The footage opened in the Viewer came with a combing effect each time, whether the field dominance was set to lower or upper. The only way to have a “normal” image was to set it to “none”.

  I don’t understand…
