  DVCpro HD 1080i 60 not playing back or showing up in FCP. Why?

  I am capturing DVCpro HD 1080i 60fps from a Panasonic AJ-HD1400 deck into FCP 7.

  Once it is captured I can drag it to the FCP timeline, but it will not show up in the canvas or viewer window. It just shows white.

  When I use Quicktime to play the video, it plays back just fine.

  My sequence setting is the same as the import setting. Does anyone have any idea what may be happening?
