    DVCPRO HD 100 Workflow

    Hi will this workflow work ? Using Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Pro HD

    -Capture 1080I HDV
    -Transcode to DVCPRO HD 100 codec 1080I
    -Output 1080i via Firewire port .

    Will the insert function work Via Firewire ? I’ll probably have to start the show at 10.00.00.00
    I don’t think it’s a big thing if it’ starts at 10.00.00.01

    You need a capture card to capture to DVcpro HD 1080i and output to an AJ-1400 DVCPro HD deck via firewire.

    Actually we would capture 1080I HDV footage Via Firewire then convert it to the Panasonic 100 Hd Codec
    Then Ouput
