I´m editing a project in FCP pro with footage in 3 different formats, Mostly it´s shot on XDCAM 1080i50. Some footage was shot on HDV and captured as ProRes 422 HQ so all of these have the
    frame size 1920×1080.
I set my seq. to ProRes HQ and 25 fps and HDTV frame size and I can handle both formats on low PB QT and Safe RT.
Then I have file-footage which is DVCPRO and 720×576. These don´t play in my ProRes HQ sequences and take a very long time to transfer and use a lot of disk space.
Is there a better way to do this? F.ex. off-line in lower res. and recompress the footage afterwards?
    Any advise out there?
