  • DV to IMX30 Capture with firewire gives bad quality

    Hello,

I have a strange problem when I capture dvcam with a firewire device and I convert it directly to IMX30.
The edges seem to be verry jaggy after the conversion.
And the thing was that it wasn’t this way before. It started a couple of weeks before.
I tested it on several systems, MacPro/Imac/Macbookpro/G5 all same problem.

I use final cut pro, and a dvcam deck or camera (same problem)

The conversion goes good when I Capture via AJA Kona (component or SDI)
    excelent quality!

I am now forced to capture first to DV and than convert it on my mac to IMX.

can this be a quicktime related problem? And does anyone else has the same issues, hopefully with a solution?

    Thanx!
