DV Tape won’t play
Hey Guys,
I’m trying to capture a content from a Sony DVM60 DV tape and I can’t get it to play more than 10 seconds before it stops. The tape is older from April of 2006, but my other tapes from that day play fine. Could this just be from the tape sitting for too long?

Don’t know what caused it, but if it plays OK from the player, I’d clone the tape to another via firewire and capture from that copy. Bet that fixes the problem…
