DV playbakc with KONA LH all messed up…
I am trying to playback DV material and have it playback through the LH card we just installed, but it isn’t working. I get a PIP sort of thing, with a quarter-screen sized window playing in the upper right hand corner of my NTSC monitor, playing over a full-sized still frame of Frame #1 of the clip. I’ve tried every SD output, and toggled everything I can find… to no avail. If I render the timeline in 10-bit, it will play fine, but I have to ask, doesn’t DV play out of this card?

Are you working in a DV timeline? You should use the Easy Setup for DV-NTSC (or PAL depending on where you are) and then simply change the Video Playback to the LH using the 8bit NTSC (or PAL) setting.
