I’m going to take a wild leap and guess that you want to CHROMA key…

dvMatte Pro is a very popular choice.

The new one from DVG, dvMatte Blast, is faster, easier and works in Motion.

BTW, there is no such thing as the BEST keyer. Different keyers have different strengths. For some things, the Boris keyer might be better, for others, After Effects or maybe Ultimatte. My advice is to collect them all.

I made a simple test using the one FCP has by default and can see it at:

    https://dasecast.nogalesdefiesta.com/chroma_dase.html

its kind of silly, but a test is a test… since the page was written for some latin friends is in spanish, but here is in plain english…. and condensed

I used my light bulb of my room and light coming from the window, I then applied the color smoothing -4:1:1, and then the chroma key, a little toying around with the stting and voila.. it made my test come out fast and better than what I thought would get….

but I downloaded the trial of dvmatte blast from dvgarage.com and the dv sample footage and tried it in motion and I liket it too…

    Hello from Mexico….
