  DV Import via QT7 and FCP 4.5 Issue

  For quite a while, I’ve been using GCam (Freeware program) to import 720×480 DV via firewire into my AlBook for use in FCP 4.5. Few problems, though the audio is out of sync occasionally. I’ve tried using QT Pro 7.03 to do the same thing, but the file sizes are always 640×480 and FCP doesn’t even allow them to be imported (Unknown File Type). Is anyone else doing this with success?

  PS: Walter originall showed me how to import with FCP, a process that has saved me and my clients COUNTLESS hours of Log & Capture time… GCam was a little more reliable, except for the occasional sync issue. -Thanks again, Walter!
