    Hopeful somebody could advise:

I have real 16:9 footage (from HVX200) and fake 16:9 footage (4:3 letterboxed, from PD150) that I’m trying to put together into a multiclip for cutting. There are a ton of timecode breaks on the PD150 footage anyway, so my workaround solution was to sync both in one timeline and output each seperate vid track as a self-contained QT mov. Hope is to then reimport each .mov which will then be same format, same aspect, sync’d, etc. to work together in multitrack.

    Here’s the oddity:
The timeline sequence is set to 16:9 DV. I export using timeline settings.
The HVX footage track exports as 16:9 DV.
If I set short clip in/out points on the PD150 footage, it exports as 16:9 DV.
If I export the entire PD150 track (with or without set in/out points), it exports as 4:3 DV squeezed and won’t multitrack with the HVX footage.

    So, um… what the hey?
