Duration of imported AVI file shorter in Premiere Pro
Hi,
I normally use Final Cut Pro but have been using Premiere for the last week. My problem is, I recently captured some footage using the Windows video capture. The footage (AVI) was about 37 minutes long. However, when I imported this to Premiere, it only shows up as 1 min 18 secs. I have tried looking at the settings but I cannot find anything. The footage plays in Windows Media player as 37 mins long, so I see no reason why it should shorten!!
Any ideas? I would be most grateful for any help given.Cheers

I imagine it is because you captured it to Type1 AVI instead of Type2. Why didn’t you capture it into Premiere Pro?
