Duplicate frames or long frames or dropped frames??
I am capturing uncompressed video that seems to have double frames randomly in the clip. The timecode does not break and the audio has no problem – pops or drops. But there is a duplicate frame of video.
I can recapture the same clip from tape again and the problem moves to a different section of the clip.
I thought that this was perhaps a “long frame” but fcp says the clip is long frame free.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appriciated.
