Duplicate frames missing Reel #
I imported a bunch of 24p material into FCP, and moved it into sequences. Then realized that because there weren’t any reel numbers, the Detect Duplicates function wasn’t working. So I reloaded all the dailies into a new FCP project, set the reel numbers so the master files would reflect the correct reel #’s. Now I’m back in my original FCP project but the Detect Duplicates isn’t working. Is there a way to make FCP re-read these files and take notice of the reel numbers so that the duplicate detection works? I tried Reconnect Media but that did nothing.

Why not just add them in fcp?
