I have an extruded nurb object that has been made into an editable mesh, to which I added a duplicate function.

Now, I am duplicating this along a spline, when two problems happen.

    1. Instead of following the spline around (which is basically an oval), duplicates on the bottom of the spline are still right side up, when they should turn over upsidedown, as they would on a tank or tractor tread. No amount of messing with the Y+ Y- etc fixes this.

    2. When I turn on rotation, the duplicates on top appear on one side of the spline, while the duplicates on the bottom appear offset on the other side. What I need is for all the duplicates to line up all the way around the oval, again, like a tank tread.

Additionally, I have experienced similar problems using the align function, with copies of the mesh object together in a null object.

I sure would appreciate some help on this. Thank you.

You probably need to use a rail spline.

I tried adding a rail spline but it just made the original mesh and the duplicates disappear.
