Dumb DVDA Q
Hi folks, Sorry I just don’t do enough of this work to remember it all.
Shot a video and using Vegas rendered portions of it separately as MPG2. Saved each with its own filename.
Now want to put them all, end-to-end on a single video DVD. Using DVDA I tried to do it via the “Single Movie” process but could not find a way to do this. It accepts the first filenamed video, but I can’t find a way to add the next, and the next, and so on. It must be obvious, under my nose.
I tried also to do this via the Menus method, and was able to create buttons to play each file separately, but the way to link one-to-the-next (“action”) were grayed out. The resulting DVD plays the selected video, then goes back to the main menu and stops, does not continue to the next. The selection does not give a list of choices, simply shows back to No. 1.
Any help would be appreciated.

You have to navigate into each clip and set the end action to point to the next clip. Just double-click the first clip, select the End Action property, and change the Destination from Most recent menu to whatever the next clip is in the sequence you want. You have to do this for every clip.

I tried this but that particular control is grayed out. Once I did get it to be “live” (but I don’t know what happened and I lost it again.)John23GR

you could try creating a playlist, with each video as an item on the list.
drop the videos on to the root folder first (not on a menu page), in order to have them on the dvd without being individual buttons on the menu
then drag n drop them from the folder on to the playlist in the order you require.
