December 25, 2014 at 3:03 pmYeah, I just want the Libraries/Event/Projects on the iPad monitor. Well, it’s Christmas, so it looks like I need a gift!
Happy-happy, y’all!

December 25, 2014 at 7:05 pmI just downloaded it.
I’m working while traveling for the holidays, and wanted a little more real estate in fcpx.
I think it works just fine. Using an iPad 2 with the resolution set to normal. I would stay away from using it as a GUI if possible. I don’t know if “lag” is the right term, but the mouse pointer is just a hair off response wise. But, certainly doable. However, using it to monitor the video was perfect.
Hope that helps. -

December 29, 2014 at 3:46 pmJust finished cutting a small product demo video and used the Duet app on my iPad Air2 for events and projects on a second monitor. Works well for situations where a larger, second monitor is not feasible. Certainly adds a little more value to the iPad.

August 13, 2017 at 6:33 pmJust downloaded Duet and I’m running the latest version of FCPX (10.3.4). I’m sorry to say that Duet is not working at all with FCPX.
It works with other programs on my 2012 Macbook Pro Retina. But in FCPX, if I select “Viewer” as my choice for what I see on my “Second Monitor” , with Duet running this is what I see on my iPad Pro:
