    Hello:
Does anyone know if there is a way to view to different comps ‘side by side’ in the viewers area within AE7? I am lost and not sure why I can’t do this…thanks for your guidance.

You can create multiple comp viewers, by rightclicking on the left end of the comp viewer tab – and selecting ‘new viewer’. This viewer can be positioned like any viewer in the AE 7 UI.

You can select any comp to show in the viewer by selecting them from the dropdown. You can even lock a viewer to a comp by clicking the ‘lock’ symbol on the left of the tab.

    Have fun.

I totally understand “A New Viewer” concept for a specific comp HOWEVER….doesn’t this just keep adding that specific comp to the new viewers tabs. What I need to do is……..

do a “side-by-side” comparison of two ‘SEPARATE’ comps ex. Comp A viewed next to Comp B.

Also- I’d like to view them next to eachother-or even an A/B Split(sans Masking), can this all be done in AE?

    Thanks
